For as long as I can remember, I have loved "The Last Unicorn". I don't remember if I read the book as a young child, but when I was 15 I checked it out of the library. I loved it, and I checked it out of the library about a zillion times. I finally found a copy for myself, and I think the library was glad. ^^;
One of the first images I can remember from my childhood is the cover of the movie - the unicorn rearing up on her hind legs, challenging the Red Bull. That image has stayed with me for forever, and when I hear "The Last Unicorn", that image comes to mind.
All of the pictures on this layout are from screencaps I took. The name of this page comes from a quote from Schmendrick to Lir at the end of the movie: "She will remember your heart when men are fairy tales in books written by rabbits. Of all unicorns she is the only one who knows what regret is. And love."
