Kiara's: "I never really knew Sam well. We never hung out outside of Anime UTA meetings - I never had time. I don't even remember the day I met Sam - I just know it was right after I started going to the meetings. I remember talking outside with him, Casey, Jessica, and Sarah - I remember him & Jessica coming into the DDR room at Arlingcon 2002 while I was working - I remember splashing him with water from the fountain outside the building the meetings are held in - and I, just like everyone else that knew him, remembers teasing him about Gundam and his shoelaces... and tripping him and ourselves with them. I remember that if I was in a bad mood, even though he hardly knew me, he was always right there to give me a hug to lift my spirits. We had so many conversations together, about all kinds of things... anime, DDR, movies, books, cons... I can't even remember any particuler words he said to me right now; but I feel the warm feeling of just talking with him when we did talk. I remember teasing our friends with him and I remember him teasing me. I remember holding him down while he got tickled. I didn't know him very well... but I'm going to miss him a lot."
